Decoding the Dress Code
JoHanna Moresco: It's important to impress at the Vampire Ball. The bare minimum requirement? All black attire. But this is no ordinary black outfit—leave your casual wear at home. Athletic wear, sportswear, and superhero costumes are strictly off-limits. Embrace the Gothic allure of the event and channel your inner vampire.
Father Sebastiaan: The most basic default style for the Vampyre aesthetic which can be used in any situation is that of the Salon Noir Motif which can be used within and outside salons and empower the Vampyre in a multitude of scenarios. This is style is inspired by a Victorian funeral, a formal dark business affair, Long Black Veil events, dumb supper, or a séance for Houdini.
Colors
The colors of the fabric should be black on black with red and white accents. Absolutely no visible commercial logos or symbolism, especially which resembles fascism or any political stance.
Clothing Style / Vampire Couture
Vampire Couture includes tailored suits, ties, cravats, capes, corsets, vests, smoking jackets, evening attire, and cocktail dresses. This formal and fantastic "Salon Noir "style is elegant and mysterious while amplifying confidence and clothing should be flattering yet comfortable.
Fangs
Wear your Fangs to the Vampire Ball. The wearer should be able to speak clearly and drink cocktails with their fangs on.
Of course no Vampire Ball is complete without a pair of custom made fangs by a Fangsmith. We are pleased to have TWO of the world's most renowned "fangsmiths." You can also make an appointment to have your fang molds taken by a professional at an Endless Night Event. Email us at Contact@Vamporium.shop for details
Jewelry
Wear your Legacy Ankh to the Vampire Ball. It's an excellent place to show off your Legacy Gem showing your status as a Vampyre. All precious metals are welcome with the exception copper with complementary esoteric symbolic rings, Legacy Ankh or occult sigillum pendants, chain necklaces, and lapel pins with occult symbols to show order, halo, or coven. You can never go wrong with Sterling Silver.
Footwear
Footwear is most empowering when it is leather for faux without colored laces, best primarily black and no sneakers, sandals, or canvas materials. Heels and boots are welcomed, but make sure comfort for dancing and walking is taken into consideration.
Accessories
Accessories beyond jewelry should reflect vampire elegance and opulence. They include: leather, walking canes, hats, scarves, gloves, top hats, fur and feather accents, spectacles, pocket watches, etc.
Masks
Victorian formal-style masks are highly preferred before our midnight ceremony “The Red Mass”… you can get your masks from one of our sponsored vendors, make it yourself or have it created for you.
Nails
Nailstyles (optional) for the ladies and eccentric gents should be stilettos to resemble claws, or simply clean and well-manicured.
Contact Lenses
Contact lenses should be artistic, visible, look subtle and or striking to the soul with a slight glance.
Fragrances
Fragrances should not be overbearing and best to include pheromones to create seductive sent.
Victor Magnus: "All right, so everyone, this is an event where you really need to bring it. You need to dress up now while we do have the barest minimum. Which is all black. And that doesn't mean Black T-shirt, doesn't mean black sneakers.
No athletic wear, no sportswear. This is a Vampire, Gothic event. No superheroes. I don't care if you're Deadpool Thor. I don't care what you are. Blade is just about the only one that's allowed to come in... or Mobius. This is still a Vampire Ball, not so much just a Halloween costume event.
So you don't have to dress in theme per se, but you really wanna bring it because when you see how other people come dressed up you're gonna feel, you're gonna feel left out. And people do bring it. People put on these elaborate costumes. The costume contest winners are usually the most amazing costumes ever.
So you wanna come dressed in the themes. It's all on the website. So you can go through the list and say I'm this tier, or I'm this tier, I'm this tier. But definitely dress to the nines if you can. Formal wear is always welcome. So if you have a text, break it out. You're gonna feel right at home.
But as far as gowns are concerned, your elaborate costumes, bring them all. That's what you're gonna wanna wear. That's if you wanna fit in, that's what you wanna wear. Everybody. You still got a few weeks to put custom together if you haven't yet."
FOR THE VAMPIRE BALL ~ MAJESTIC MOTIF
https://www.pinterest.fr/endlessnightvampireball/
Vampire Ball is the Majestic motif, which applies when a formal, regency, aristocratic or highly theatrical aesthetic is in order. This can be a highly formal salon noir style but is usually more as one is presenting yourself at an Endless Night Vampire Ball, Anne Rice Coven Ball, Babylonian Grande Vampyre Salon, Monarch’s court, royal coronation, Venetian masquerade, or courtly affair. Depending on the affair the default color is black, yet darker colors may be permitted by the host or theme that can include more prevalent whites, purples, yellows, and reds. Example sub-motifs include: Dark baroque (French 18th century style), Venetian Carnival, Aristocratic Victorian and Regency. All suitable for a grande Vampire affair.
